CCD (Colony Collapse Disorder) And The Human Dis-eased State
Parallel of Realities
Author William Spencer
In June of 2007 I was driving down the road in centeral Minnesota with my window down and got drifted on by a pesticide targeted for potatoes.
In a matter of minutes my body responded to the death that was taking place. The protecting bacteria and other micro-organisms on my body and in my body began to die. My breathing became restricted, fear set in, my tongue and throat started to swell, I became very disorientated and my balance, well, let’s say, I had a time to keep up right on my own. I did manage to report this to the Department of Agriculture and make the 20+ mile trip home in around 2 hours. My mind was so foggy and distorted that focusing on driving took all I could do at very slow speeds. I do remember going into the ditch twice and thinking to myself, why am I not able to react at all? I am watching this out through my eyes but could not get my body to respond, till it was too late and I ended up in the ditch each time.
Well, knowing what I know I put my natural health knowledge to work. I re-introduced several strains of Probiotics, beneficial micro-organisms, back into my system. Washed off the poisons, and applied a very biologically alive cream on my skin, and rested. Reset my electrical magnetic system with my wife's help.
With this protocol I was able to function in three days. Whereas several clients, even after receiving medical treatment, did not improve after five weeks.
This I learned in Mr. Presler's 8th grade class and from my childhood on the farm; “We are part of a co-existence with nature”.
There is an element to our existence that is being left out of the equation. Not only the equation with ourselves but also with the equations of the soil, plants, animals the honey bee which is the focus of this paper.
With my research and the many observations of my clients, along with my personal experience in connection with the co-existence of our immune system and the living micro-organisms around and in us, I realized that not only just us, but with every living thing on this planet, there is a balance that needs to be maintained to hold homeostasis. Homeostasis is the property of either an open system or a closed system, especially a living organism that regulates its internal environment so as to maintain a stable, constant condition. An advantage of homeostatic regulation is that it allows an organism to function effectively in a broad range of environmental conditions.
When the homeostasis balance is altered we then move away from a homeostatic condition. Allow me to further explain this condition. In the 1930's the military started testing nuclear devices out in the open. This was called "Open Atmospheric Testing."
Now in 2008 we have moved so far away from homeostasis, which is a stable and constant condition now things have become unstable and inconsistent from the natural order in which it was intended to be. Our present state of reality allows for an internal and external environment of instability. This may appear like everything is fine on the surface, however in order to understand this, we need to look at the two parallel realities of we as humans and the small little creature, the honey bee.
In the 1930's the USDA reported around 4 million honey bee hives in this country. Today, early 2008 the figure is 2.3 million hives. Today, in the USA there are over 70% more commercial agriculture productions than in 1930. This is being done with over 40% less pollinating honey bees.
In the 1930's 20% of the population lived in the city and 80% lived in the rural small farm areas. Today is just the opposite, 80% in the city and 20% rural. Today it takes more than one income to pay the bills of most Americans. The stress levels are much higher than in the 1930's.
Just as today with the honey bee. They are moved and worked beyond their natural order. Today our foods are so devalued and toxic that you can easily see this with all the sickness around us, not only us but also the little honey bee.
We both suffer from similar events and stimuli, some of these being:
*Over worked and stressed
*Devalued and deficient nutrition
*Environmental toxins
*Lack of immunity
In this present time these four points are devastating not only to this country but all civilized cultures on this planet. Our only help is to strengthen our body's immunity to sickness, avoid the toxins, cut down on stress and rest, and feed these bodies the purest elements we can until the civilized world realizes they are committing a self induced reality of "suicide"!
Whereas this little creature, the honey bee, with its controlling power of nature just simply moves on away from chaos back to the natural order at all cost, which has a label of CCD (colony collapse disorder).
I have been doing bee research and observation for the past five years. My hives were on a five acre plot of land that was full of the most pure and diverse honey bee habitat in the northern USA. The fauna was to give the honey bee all its necessary food and protection for year around survival. This environment was chemical free and the soil was being fed as with biodynamic philosophies at heart.
The first two years of the honey bee operation was very successful. The honey bees lived and multiplied at will with no visible negative effects. There was a commercial turkey and crop farm located 400 feet away, which sat vacant until the third year of my honey bee operation. Starting the third year of my honey bee operation, a new owner re-enacted the farm. The new owner of the farm brought in the white sterile birds and the GM crops of corn and soybeans and all commercial industrial farming practices. To our surprise our bees' mortality rose that fall and winter. In the fourth year we lost out to mites and foul brood. In the fifth year we did not even get through the summer with the new batch of bees and they left! The reason the bees did not return was due to CCD (colony collapse disorder)! I stood in the midst of that swarm in early June and felt a sad uneasy sensation in my heart. By July they were gone. They left behind those too young and diseased to fly.
Just as I was overwhelmed and disoriented from being sprayed by pesticide drift, the honey bee is being over whelmed and disoriented. The honey bee has an immune system that is dependent on the diverse population of micro-organisms internally and externally. When these organisms die, so does their protection mechanism. The unbalanced surviving micro-organisms are allowed to wreak havoc at will, hence the viral, bacterial, fungal, and other pathogenic disorders you are seeing materialize today. Not only with the honey bee but also with just about every specie on earth that is co-existing in an unbalanced environment.
This information is easily found. I simply typed into Google search words like, CCD honey bee research. You will see page after page of highly educated people looking after the same thing. The majority of people concerning this issue are looking at an outside factor or element that is causing the problem. I am here today to say they are looking in the wrong direction. Yes, the parasites and pathogens are a problem, but why?
My 8th grade teacher, Kevin Presler, taught me about this balance in nature along with my father. In my learning about the biological and electrical process of the body from one of my instructors, Denie Hiestand of New Zealand, he has also shown and demonstrated to me this balance and its importance.
When one small bacterium has been killed from our digestive tract, there is a potential of 2,500 downstream effects, symptoms, or maladies that can manifest in the human body. This is the majority of my natural health business.
The logical direction I am headed in is back toward one of balance and harmony with the natural order of things. I am endeavoring to create a homeostatic condition.
Please take the time to view all the pages on the Google search engine; you will see how far agriculture has moved away from the natural order of our existence?
My Native American heritage was one with nature. We lived in nature, with nature and this harmony was a beautiful rhythm of life.
I once did an experiment to prove just this. I lived next to a commercial potato farm. Several things happened, but I am calling your attention to one very positive event.
I raised my potatoes 137 feet from theirs. During the growing season they used an airplane to spray for bugs.
Now remembering, what I was taught in 8th grade about the natural order. Bugs are designed to consume a diseased and unhealthy plant. So I took my potatoes and fed them and cared for them. Trying to let them live in the natural order as best I could by using insects as a pesticide and not chemicals. Once again, I was endeavoring to create a homeostatic environment.
In regards to the airplane and the spraying of pesticides 137 feet away from my crop of potatoes, I witnessed an event that was most astonishing. This chemical fog of poison created a mass exodus of insects that smothered both me and my crop. My garden was inundated with the neighbor's bugs. But, something was not happening. My potatoes just did not have any bugs attracted to them. This practice of chemical application went on several times that summer and my potatoes lived to fulfill their destiny into my root cellar.
What was the difference in my potatoes and the commercial starchy sponges that look like potatoes across the road?
I allowed and perpetrated them to live in their natural order. I made sure they received very little stress, no toxins, at least from me, and their home the rhizosphere, was as balanced as I could get it.
I used my own compost for growing media. I applied water, a microbial solution of SBO's which I now sell, and of course, they received only positive care by my family and me. In return those Yukon gold potatoes had a flavor and quality that were unmatched anywhere. These SBO's will soon be available on my website www.BeeAssist.com and www.Environotics.com with full protocol and all necessary equipment.
In my opening statement, I described an event where I was incapacitated by chemical drift of a pesticide being applied to a farmer's field. I mentioned this event because this very thing is also happening to the honey bee.
As we all know, pesticides are designed to kill things. And according to the EPA http://www.epa.gov/opprd001/inerts/lists.html the inert or bulk of these pesticides ingredients are mostly industrial waste, hazardous waste, and several other chemical compounds now being released into the environment, along with the killing pesticide.
When I was a victim of chemical drift, the pesticide got on my skin and I inhaled it into my lungs. The result of chemical exposure to my body was immediately felt by the killing of the micro-organisms that live on us and in us. Our body has approximately 1,000 micro-organisms per square inch of skin. The micro-organisms are there for the protection and health of our bodies. These micro-organisms were killed when I was sprayed by the pesticides. After the micro-organisms died, the chemical compounds that were on my skin were readily absorbed into the body which caused nerve and electrical damage resulting in disorientation; hence, the confusion and inability to think clearly and or process stimuli at all. Our immunity to the environment is these micro-organisms. When these micro-organisms die, we start to die. In addition, there are hundreds of pages of information if you want to read, on our web site, www.environotics.com, about pesticides and your health.
I can only guess how these chemicals will affect the honey bee when comparing the body mass of an adult, fit male to a small honey bee. From my experience the effects of these chemical compounds on my body where seriously devastating. How much more do you think a small honey bee will be affected? The chemical compounds affect our body’s electrical magnetic system, as with the honey bee it is similar to opening your fuse box or breaker panel to expose all the wires and taking an eight pound hammer and smashing the whole lot to a mush.
Once again, we must look at the homeostasis of the honey bee in order to fully understand the problem. Because the problem is imbalance rather than a homeostatic environment, one cannot lay the blame on any one source. It is this industrial system as a whole. Sir Albert Howard, an Imperial Chemical Botanist, in 1931 warns us in his book, "The Soil and Health", the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers leads to imperfectly synthesized protein in leaves of plants, thus resulting in many of the diseases found in plants, animals, insects, and human beings. Humans and honey bees are protein eaters. The honey bee consumes the pollen from the plants and the honey it makes, which is a very high protein diet. The human as with the honey bee cannot achieve the homeostatic state when ingesting an unbalanced and distorted protein molecule. So please use the God given reasoning and logic to see what is really happening in us and around us. Remember 8th grade biology? Our bodies are not designed to exist in an environment with unnatural chemical compounds.
Dr. Joseph D. Weissman, associate professor at UCLA College of Medicine, has discovered, after many years of research in preventative Medicine and Immunology, that most all noninfectious diseases that presently plague mankind are of recent origin.
Dr. Weissman strongly states that most of today's killer diseases are caused by environmental toxins produced by our industrial society, and there are many, many more doctors of medicine and traditional health care providers coming to understand and see the truth of these toxins on not just the human body but also the soil, animals, and hopefully the devastating effects on the honey bee.
I am passionately recommending my protocol for the honey bees' immune system to be strengthened. Just like I did with my bees, a reintroduction of micro-organisms into the honey bees' environment and into their bodies can re-establish the hive to a more balanced natural order. The more balanced protocol I use and recommend can be found at www.BeeAssist.com along with full directions and application equipment.
So please, just look around you. The honey bees are trying to tell us something! I'm trying to tell you something! We are in a situation of huge proportions! The chemicals in our environment are killing us. Take the time to really read the web site and research for yourself. In order for any of these problems to be corrected there has to be a change. Just as little David with his rock and sling made a difference so can we make a difference together. Thank you.
